The workshop is applicable for people from various backgrounds. No matter your background, this workshop offers a space for personal growth and artistic expression, providing a creative and self-reflective environment for those seeking a challenge. Through shared movement training and creative collaborations with other workshop participants, this workshop will emphasise our shared experiences, offering an innovative and creative lens through which we can view our journeys.
LOCATION
The work session will take place in Brzezinka in the historical forest base of The Grotowski Institute, located 46 km from Wroclaw. The Brzezinka forest base began as a renovation project by Jerzy Grotowski and The Laboratory Theatre in 1971. The renovated farm buildings surrounded by 10 hectares of forest, now contain a theatrical space, studio spaces, and full living accommodations.

WORKSHOP DATES: 16-24 JULY 2022 Brzezinka (by Oleśnica town, Lower Silesia)
16 July - Arrival Day, meeting at Wroclaw Main Train Station at 4.pm, common transport to Brzezinka, evening activities
17 - 23 July - Workshop sessions
24 July - Departure
There are more places in Poland called "Brzezinka". You should be arriving to Wroclaw, which is around 40 km from our place.
While the workshop welcomes participants from all backgrounds, it is essential to understand that the process involves rigorous physical demands, requiring intense focus and full commitment. Please keep this in mind before registering.

The fee includes accommodation in the Brzezinka forest base, organised transport between Wrocław and Brzezinka and meals for the entire period of the work session (breakfast, lunch, dinner, warm drinks, drinking water supply). We provide delicious healthy food with vegetarian and vegan options. Our cook will try her best to embrace your dietary requirements.

Down payment is 90 EUR and is not refundable!
Following your registration, we will assess your application and let you know if you have been selected for the workshop. Once accepted, a downpayment will be required to secure your spot.

LANGUAGE
The workshop will be led in English. The practice is based on the platform of listening and communication through the body and intuitive experience, therefore verbal explanation will be often reduced to possible minimum.
