LONDON AUTUMN INTENSIVES
NOV – DEC 2026

NOT A WEEKLY CLASS,
BUT A SERIES OF CONCENTRATED
ENCOUNTERS WITH THE WORK.
Each intensive offers four hours to enter deeply into physical practice — working with impulse, attention, contradiction, imagination and the relationship between bodies.
The training is physically and mentally demanding. It asks for presence, curiosity and a willingness to move beyond familiar patterns.

Testimonials:
"Matej is an exceptional practitioner of not just the craft of performance, but also in the art of holding provocative but tender spaces for artists to soften boundaries within the self to deepen our own questioning. Encountering Matej's work has in many ways challenged the structure in which I have built myself throughout the years and that has brought upon inspiration and strength to allow for further transformation in my own practices."
Vinna Law - Actor, performer, meditator and writer
“One of the most skilled and experienced teachers of physical acting in the world. … A consummate master in teaching and training actors in physical work and movement.”
Dr. Ben Spatz, University of Huddersfield, UK
“Matej Matejka has an extraordinary talent and gift for teaching… I am always surprised by how far his actors develop the craft of physicality and the intelligence of their bodies.”
Milan Kozanek, choreographer/teacher, SK
“Precise yet open and flowing, Caring but rigorous, technical and poetical, working with everybody in and through the group. An excellent teacher.”
